I am writing to warn about two of the most serious problems with the Department of Justice, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. These agencies were implicated in the sale of firearms to a single person, including an illegal firearm, and there is very strong circumstantial evidence that the guns were transported to Mexico and then sold through a U.S. gun-smuggling ring. The letter writer has some important facts wrong.
The ATF is not going after gun smugglers. They have not issued an indictment against the “gun smugglers” for their actions.
Even the FBI agent, who admitted to giving the gun to the Mexican gun-runner in a restaurant, did not have any evidence of any crime being committed, and the Feds have not actually taken any action against the individual, other than issuing the letter of complaint against him.
I recommend that people read more on this matter. The government has failed completely to act against these two guns-smuggling organizations involved in trafficking guns into the U.S. and then selling them illegally.
In fact, the FBI agent who helped facilitate the illegal sale of firearms is also the brother of a gun-smuggling organization leader who is being investigated by the FBI for allegedly aiding in gun sales and trafficking guns into the U.S.
Why are agents from the ATF and the FBI not doing their jobs?
The gun-smuggling ring was very well organized and had made considerable money. They could have easily done everything they needed to do to get the guns out of the U.S. and into Mexico. As it stands today, there is no case to be made against them for their crime.
If they had to go out and fight a criminal case, then they should have left it out; that would have saved them a lot of time and money.
